Pel’s Island Camp is situated about 80km North East of Maun (an hour and a half drive).

The wildlife in the area depends on the season, but Lions, Leopards, Hyena, Elephants, Lechwes, Giraffes and Buffalos are frequently spotted.

The birdlife in the area is very special with rare species often seen. The most special is the Pel’s Fishing Owl pair that is often seen near the units.
